How do I change the thread or pom pom colors?
On some of our crowns, there is an option to select "yes" when asked if you'd like to change either of these items. The options appear once you've selected "yes".
I want to change the pom pom colors but I don't see what the color names are. How do I pick the right colors?
You can use the thread color names and we will match the pom poms -or- you can describe the tones you would like and we will color match for you! We have over 120 colors available and we haven't had a color we can't match yet. If there's ever an issue, we will reach out to you via email.
Can you embroider on both sides of the crown?
Double-sided embroidery is not available due to the construction of our crowns.
I ordered my crown three weeks ago and I haven't had another email since the order confirmation. Is there an update on it's arrival?
You are correct, we don't send update emails until you are sent your tracking number. All of our crowns are completely handmade and it will take anywhere from 3-6 weeks to receive your crown. At the time of purchase, there is an estimated delivery date shown just below the "Add to Cart" button we recommend you take note of. We also have added a Track My Heirloom feature to the shop where you can see it's progress.
How do I change the thread or pom poms on a crown that doesn't have the customize option?
We do our absolute best to make these crowns as customizable as possible, however some thread colors and choices do not look the best. In these rare instances, we do not allow customization because the thread colors displayed are truly the best match for name visibility.
I want to switch the inside fabric on an existing crown. How do I do this?
If the crown has a "change thread or pom poms" option, select "yes" and then describe what you would like. If it doesn't have that option, it is one of the crowns on which we will not switch inner/outer fabrics.
Can I do more embroidery than just a name? / How custom can you make a crown?

I have my own fabric, can I send it to you to create a crown?
If it is a woven linen or cotton fabric, we will accept your fabric at a minimum length of 1/2 yard. Our studio systems have been streamlined to make our handmade queue as efficient as possible so custom and outside fabric will need to be purchased as a Heritage Standard crown.
I have my child's baby clothing. Can you make a crown out of that?
Potentially. We only use woven fabrics for crowns and as most baby clothing will be stretchy or knit fabrics, we can only accept non-synthetic wovens as fabric. The best items tend to be dresses/skirts and button-down shirts. If you know your fabrics fall into that category, you can purchase a Heritage Standard crown. What happens if the crown needs repair?
When you receive your crown, there is a card with a QR code for you to scan and register for our Crown Repair Service - this is for life and we ask that you register within the first 30 days of receiving your crown.
